Parent Information

It is going to be a great year!

logoI want you to know that I have an open-door policy; so please feel free to come in and talk with me anytime. Your feedback is important to me. I am a firm believer that a school is more successful when teachers, parents, and administration work as a team to provide students with a supportive educational environment.

Parent/school communication is vital to a student's educational process. Helping students to reach their potential requires all of us communicating with one another. I encourage you to become involved in your child's educational process. Every student can be successful if they are provided time, discipline, loving parents and caring teachers.

Monthly calendars, as well as teacher newsletters, will be sent home announcing school/classroom activities. Your child will have an agenda book, which is a good communication tool. Also, I encourage you to take time to read the student handbook, so you are familiar with the school policies and procedures. Just know that you are welcome in the building anytime and that your support is very much appreciated. I want you to feel great about the education that your child is receiving at Elberfeld Elementary. I hope to develop and enhance a positive relationship with you which in turn will create a nurturing learning environment for your child.
